Top model and style icon Kate Moss is captured by brilliant photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the latest Donna Karan ad campaign. In fact the British diva is the image of Donna Karan since spring 2008, as she epitomizes old school glamour, and is a perfect example of a woman who wears the clothes rather than being overshadowed by them.

The photos shot at the Union Station in downtown Los Angeles aim to evoke the former glamour of the orient Express: "It's about the woman on the go... There's a romantic classicism, a little darkness, an Eastern European kind of decadence". Alas and Piggott created a mysterious, mellow atmosphere centered on the uber-feminine presence of Kate who sits surrounded by a selection of newly launched Donna Karan handbag collection.
